Trentham Golf Club

Irrigation project commences, temporary holes may be in operation

Trentham Golf Club has commenced an important irrigation upgrade. Greens are being fitted wth new irrigation pipes around the perimeter with new sprinklers and wifi solenoids. There will be some disruption to play.

  • A line of grass around the perimeter of each green on the fringe will be dug up, new pipes and sprinklers installed, grass replaced, and the area sanded and seeded. Each green takes a few days and they are being done in succession. The practice putting green and the 1st and 2nd greens have already been completed.
  • While work is in progress on each green they are out of play, and a temporary green or hole will be in operation. Look for the flag position. Each green will have a temporary green for a few days. Only one (or occasionally two) temporary greens will be in operation at a time.
  • When each green is completed and re-seeded, they will come back into operation. The disturbed area around each green will be Ground Under Repair.
  • Relief MUST be taken if your ball lands in any disturbed or sanded area.
  • Please make an effort to step over the area when walking to the green to avoid footprints.
  • We apologise for the incovenience, and thank you for your co-operation with this very important project. It is vital for the course's future quality.

Making it easy to get into golf

At Trentham we offer a range of options to get into and keep playing golf. While we have full memberships for those who prefer the wonderful option of belonging to a club, unlike many clubs this is not all we offer. We also have a number of options for social golfers, summer golfers, or those who would just like green fee discounts for playing regularly.

All our memberships are very affordable and provide a GolfLink handicap with a Trentham GolfLink number and personal insurance.

Green fee passes provide very affordable, year-round social play at Trentham (please note that passes carry no handicap or insurance).

The membership year at Trentham for full memberships is March 1 to February 28 (pro rata fees available). Access, Lifestyle memberships and green fee passes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
