Blue line around greens

If you are in a golf cart, please do not drive it over the blue line marked in front of the greens.
Golfers are asked to keep golf carts and buggies off the edges of greens, and to avoid areas where the irrigation work has been performed.

Divots and pitch marks

Please carry a bucket of sand on the course and use it where necessary. Please take the time to repair your divots on fairways and pitch marks on greens and if possible at least one more divot and pitch mark. This will go a long way to keep the course in tip top condition.

While we appreciate members do the right thing, we have many people who use the course that don’t. We thank you all for your additional attention to this.

Post and rope barriers

Rope barriers are there for a reason. All players are required not to move the ropes, lower the rope so their buggies can go over it, or raise the rope and push their buggies underneath it. The ropes are there to protect the areas that are marked off, and helping to maintain grass cover. Please do not just ignore them.

PREFERRED LIES

A preferred lie of up to a card length can be taken in closely-mown areas of the general area, no nearer to the hole. Note: there is no preferred lie to be taken in the rough.

Please note: large bare patches on fairways as a result of Corella damage are defined as animal holes, and are therefore abnormal course conditions under the Rules of Golf.

TREE ROOT RELIEF

Relief may be taken in the general area from a tree root if it interferes with a player’s ball. The tree root is to be treated as GUR and relief taken in accordance with Rule 16.1b.

BUNKERS

Players may lift, rake and replace their ball as close as possible to the original position of their ball in the bunker.

GROUND UNDER REPAIR

Unless specifically stated, players must take relief from all GUR in the general area, in accordance with Rule 16.1.

Players may take relief from the following in accordance with Rule 16.1:

  • Leaf, stick and mulch piles
  • Burnt ash piles
  • Storm damage: Any disturbed areas due to tree removal, ground out stumps, or cut and standing stump.

All works associated with the installation of the new irrigation system around greens are to be treated as GUR. Players must take relief in accordance with Rule 16.1a.

Irregularities on Greens

If your ball comes to rest in a previously bird damaged area or green staff repair on any green, or if these irregularities are on your intended putting line, you are permitted to move your ball no closer to the hole so you can have a clean flat lie to putt along.
