As part of Trentham Golf Club's aim to broaden appeal to younger golfers, two new memberships have been created. Each has substantial discounts over the normal full adult membership.
The club realises that the period post-school or university is often a harder one financially when young adults are trying to establish careers, families or renting. We do not like to see young adults leave the club or golf completely due to financial pressures. Both memberships are designed to help young adults affordably transition to full club membership after they have become too old for junior or student membership.
Young Adult membership (18-24 years) will cater for those who have left school but are not full-time students or apprentices and therefore do not qualify for student membership. The cost is $300 per year.
Young Adult membership (25-30 years) will cater for those who are older but still 30 years of age or under. The cost is $600 per year.
Please note that full-time students or apprentices aged under 24 are eligible for Student membership.
Both Young Adult memberships have full playing rights, a Golf ID handicap, Golf Australia insurance and voting rights.
